Welcome to the Clever Car Collection, a used car dealership powered by AI, but with the added care and attention of a team who put customer service as their number one priority.

Founded in 2023 by James Baggott – the editor in chief of automotive industry publication Car Dealer Magazine – the Clever Car Collection has been designed to fuse all of the learnings he has taken from covering the motor industry for more than 20 years.

As the chief judge of the industry leading Used Car Awards, James has taken every bit of best practice he has gleaned from years of judging other brilliant car dealers to give his customers the very best service. 

What’s so clever about Clever Car Collection?

We champion the use of AI throughout the process of buying and selling cars. While the Clever Car Collection is very much people led – you’ll soon meet James, Joe or one of the team – it also aims to streamline time-consuming processes so the team can spend more time on helping customers.

AI helped come up with the name for the business, it helped design our logo and it even sorts which cars we buy to ensure they’re the most popular models on sale today. You can even chat to us via our AI assistant who can answer your questions on cars we have for sale and hand you over to James and Joe if at any time you don’t get the help you need. Don’t worry, we won’t be offended if you prefer speaking to our AI assistant more than us! 

Meet J-AI-ME – our AI assistant

J-AI-ME is our AI assistant who you’ll find on our website to assist you with any questions you may have about our cars. You can ask J-AI-ME if the car is still available (if it’s on the website it is), what features it has, in fact try asking our robotic friend anything. It can help book you an appointment to come and see us and pretty much anything else you’ll need. If at any time you want to speak to James or Joe, or any other member of the CCC team, simply ask J-AI-ME to put you through or call us using the number on this site of WhatsApp us.

Price Promise

We monitor our prices daily to ensure our cars are competitively priced to the market. We also give great care and attention to preparing our cars to high standards and we promise you’ll love the service you receive from the whole team.

Nationwide delivery

We offer nationwide delivery on all our cars at a cost of £1.50 per mile (minimum charge £99) so if you like the look of any of our vehicles please give us a call, WhatsApp or email and we’ll talk you through the process of having the car delivered to your home.

The car was exactly as advertised, and the addition of a fresh service and a new MOT was very welcomed. Highly recommend!

    Well, where to start! Finding enough superlatives to express our thoughts on Clever Car Collection is not easy! What a wonderful experience! I am in Scotland, my son in London, he finds a car on the Clever Car Collection website. What to do as distance is a factor to inspect the car before purchase. James and Joe took care of everything, got the car to London, my son inspected the car and it was everything they said it would be. We only paid the deposit and if the car was not what was described and as shown on the video, on the web site, the deposit would be re-funded. I had to pinch myself when Joe said “this is how we do business..”. The car was great and as described and the deal was done. My son loves his car and this moment, his first car, would not have been the wonderful experience that it was without the genuine, trustworthy process that Clever Car Collection have given us. We cannot recommend them highly enough, and albeit I am in Scotland, we will be giving Clever Car Collection a call when we purchase our next car.     Fantastic service and a great price! I was unable to view the car so we did a video call instead. The most honest salesmen I've ever dealt with. No covering things up, completely honest and trustworthy. I had the car delivered to me in Somerset (the next day) and I could be happier! I would definitely recommend.     Thankyou so much James and Joe for making our purchase of the best car we've ever owned...a 2018 plate Suzuki Vitara..such a great experience from first visiting your showroom and driving the said vehicle away!....???????? No high pressure sales tactics or hard sell employed. Just sensible explanations from Joe about the vehicle and previous one local lady owner backed up with a full service history etc...???? The Vitara drives beautifully like a new car and priced very reasonably/ as was the part exchange given for my vehicle! The gifts of a bottle of red and bouquet of flowers for my wife were an unexpected extra! As were the box of tea and biscuits that arrived a week later!!..???????? To sum up the overall experience I would give these two gentlemen 11 out of 10 for customer care, and would thoroughly recommend anyone buy a vehicle from them????????     Communication was excellent from the start, and we felt comfortable that the vehicles sold by Clever Car Collection were screened for quality before they were sold. Everything was as promised. They also gave us a fair trade-in price for our vehicle, and even delivered our car to us. This was the easiest transaction we've ever had with a dealer. We are very pleased with our new vehicle and would not hesitate to do business with Clever Car Collection again (and again) and to recommend them whole-heartedly.
